Lesson 27 - Monday May 3nd Hotter Pattern work Even hotter today, so again we elected to stay in SMO. I'm very glad we did, as it felt insanely hot in the cockpit. Touch and go landings today and a few full stops. Nine landings in total. I definitely felt better, and managed a couple of passable landings by myself. It's difficult being consistent in the approach, as we quite frequently get extended out past other traffic before we can turn base, so the turn to final is in a different place each time. I would like more consistency in my practice situations. But still, definite improvement today.
