Especially where there's lots of them and when the weather outside is inclement. I've recently had oscilloscope wired to the inside of the built-in oven for diagnostic purposes, so even domestic appliances can be fun too. (Not to mention the fridge, dishwasher, boiler and heat-pump. Graham: suggest you take a look at your pressure-switches, they're the flimsy mechanical bit.) J.
