hey Mick, here is a update of my Naturalization process & the timeline of my application progress, hope this can give others who is seeking the answer of a general idea of how fast USCIS process people's application from filing his application for citizenship to oath ceremony.
1. 02/26/2009 filing for citizenship application
2. 03/10/2009 receive fingerprint appointment letter
3. 03/25/2009 fingerprint taken
4. 04/15/2009 receive citizenship interview appointment letter
5. 05/19/2009 citizenship interview
6. 06/06/2009 receive oath ceremony appointment letter
7. 06/26 oath ceremony
8. my sister told me to bring back the citizenship certificate & use express service in some post office to get my passport. she said it would be easier & avoid mixed up with some other people's paperwork. so I guess I just gonna do that. the estimate time for getting my US passport should be less than 12 days.

hope this will help & thank you Mick again for the clear information you put on the blog.

OOh Mick what brought this on. was it BO's election?, was it that you couldn't vote in said election? still you do have a 425 day cooling off period, much longer than if you bought an insurance policy!!! We may have to have a family conference on line weekend before christmas!!
