One point here is that I <i>did</i> read samples of other books, but did not buy them. <i>The Monsters of Templeton</i> was one. So the sample system seems to be working well for me. I take it you like the kindle then. The problem I'd have with it is what happens to the book after you read it? is it available for re-reading and if so what happens when your kindle breaks/goes out of date? otherwise an interesting idea.
